Back in Miami getting ready for ArtCologne

Although the exhibition of "Around the World in a NYC Taxi" at Fountain NY 2007 is over, the project is going to travel to Europe where it will be featured at ArtCologne, one of the oldest and largest art fairs. The invitation to present the project in Germany came through the the Sculptor's Guild of NYC. The taxi should have arrived in Bremenhafen this weekend. If all goes well it will be slowly making its way to Cologne this upcoming week. Since I have been back in Miami, I have just be sorting out my affairs before I leave to Germany. There are a lot of little details that need to be addressed. So I am working my way through my "To do" list and getting as many of them done as possible. Hopefully, the piece will be as well received in Europe as it was at Fountain NY where it was pictured and noted in several online art magazines as well as numerous blogs.
As for other news, my interview with a3tv during ArtBasel Miami Beach about the Time Machine is online. You can view it here. I also have a new billboard up in the night club district in Miami sponsored by Premier Outdoor Media Inc. in addition to the one that is up in the Design District. The 30 by 20 foot billboard displays my Trophy Wife sculpture. As well, my Camouflage series was published in the Fall 2006 literary journal of the Henry Miller library, Ping-Pong. All four works from the series that were shown at the Brogan Museum of Science and Art in Tallahassee, FL are featured in this inaugural edition of the publication.
