Driving the Border Cruiser to DNC in Denver

For some months, I have been debating to drive the Border Cruiser to the Democratic National Convention in Denver. There are many factors that weighed in on my decision, but after much consideration I felt that this would be the best forum to present this project. It is a 2000 mile drive to Denver from Florida, so I have been getting the car ready to make the journey. I have also been making some small adjustments to the video installation. I will leave mid of this week and plan to arrive in Colorado by the weekend. It should be an exciting trip and interesting experience.
During the past few weeks, I have been investigating possible venues to present the project in the Mile High City. Thanks to Todd Colletti, owner of the Denver Buffalo Exchange, I have secured a location to present the project at 230 East 13th Avenue in the Capital District of Denver. The spot is near the Pepsi Convention Center and surround by many restaurants and bars. So this week is going to be hectic getting everything ready to go and then putting many long hours in the driving seat cruising down the highway. It is going to be an adventure to be sure. After Denver, I am planning to drive the car to the Twin Cities and show it at the Unconvention during the Republican National Convention that will be happening the following week.
As for other news, since I returned from my trip to New York City and D.C., I have been sending artwork to various contacts that I made during my travels and taking care of loose ends. One can now find the Esso Oil Can print at Jim Kempner Fine Art in the heart of Chelsea as well as Galerie Rainer Masset in Germany. I have also taken care of my taxes for 2007 which I have been unable to file due to traveling and the tragedy that happened in Houston. I am so happy to not have this looming over my head anymore.

Since I returned from my trip to New York City and D.C., I have been sending artwork to various contacts that I made during my travels and taking care of loose ends.
