Exhibition at the NY Mercantile Exchange

This past week I have been going through and touching up the best prints for the new edition of the Esso Oil Can, a serigraph print edition of 100 prints, 10 artist's proofs on Coventry rag paper. This part of the job is tedious and time consuming. In fact I need more time to finish and have decided to extend my stay in NY a few more days to take care of everything. Afterwards, I will fly directly from the Big Apple to Berlin. I will then travel around to a number of other Fall art fairs happening around Europe to see what is happening in the international art scene. As for other news, four of my artworks will be shown at a special group exhibition at the New York Mercantile Exchange. The show which is sponsored by the Museum of American Finance shop will open October 10th and run thru November 2nd. In Europe, Galerie Stock based in Vienna, Austria will be participating at the art.fair in Cologne, Germany in November and will present my work for the show. In addition, the exhibition "Currency: Art as Money / Money as Art" is up at the Brogan Museum of Art and Science in Tallahassee, Florida. The show features nine of my pieces and runs through November 26th.
