Slow progress

I have been delinquent with my posts the last couple of weeks. Two weeks ago, I came down with a cold and was in bed for a few days. By the time, I felt better to update the post, I figure I would just wait till the weekend since it was so near. However last weekend, I got an unexpected message that my brother was in Florida. I rarely get to see him or his family, so I travelled up to where they were to spend time with them.
As for my work, I have a number of projects that are in different stages of development, but they seem to be making slow progress. I finished up gathering material for a new collage painting that I plan to be creating. However, the substrate that I intended to use is warping, and I am looking to find another material that will be more durable.
The new print edition that I have been developing is crawling along as well. The designer with whom I am working has been busy with other projects and has not been able to devote the time necessary to complete the layout. We are very close to being done, but there is still the last 5% that needs to be resolved. This part is the most difficult because it involves a lot of fine tuning and attention to detail.
In addition to these works, I am also working on a number of new pieces that I hope to be finishing soon and will report on once they are further along.
